Being Timid at War

The article linked to above makes point I find interesting, one that I have definitely thought about during the past couple of years. I'm sure many others have as well. Ideas that dictate who is supposed to die during wartime (not killing civilians, for example) can ultimately result in the loss of that war.

I liked the quote from C.S. Lewis: "In the [Leftist] society the number of pacifists will either be large enough to cripple the state as a belligerent, or not. If it is large enough, then you have handed over the state which does tolerate pacifists to its totalitarian neighbor who does not. Pacifism of this kind is taking the straight road to a world in which there will be no pacifists."
